Why, hello there!
You may have noticed I’ve been a bit absent from the blogosphere/social media world these past few weeks. Not one for leaving loose ends untied, I thought it would be best if I posted a bit about why this is…
Well, for the past month or so, I’ve been feeling really nauseous. Being a food blogger, this is not a good thing at all. It got to the point that I just couldn’t stomach scrolling through IG or Pinterest, all the different colours and flavours and textures on the screen were just making me feel ill.
So a few weeks ago, on a whim I decided to take a home pregnancy test, and to my shock – it was positive. I’m now currently about 11 weeks pregnant. With 3 children already, my husband and I were not planning on anymore. Well, accidents happen, and the universe has blessed us with another soul to enter our lives.
So, back to the point – I’ve needed to take some time off to let this news sink in. Plus, the whole morning/any-time-of-day nausea/sickness thing hasn’t helped – my meals have consisted of sauerkraut sandwiches, potatoes, porridge, with some fruits thrown in there too. Nothing to blog about, really ;)
Sorry for disappearing on you guys – I’ll try to be around here a bit more often <3 (you know, once I’m past the whole “everything makes me want to throw up” stage…)
