Happy New Year! If you are old like me (25) you probably had no plans and slept right through the beginning of the new year. Actually, that’s not quite what happened (I wish though!).
As you may know, I have 3 young children. A 5 year old, a 2 year old and a 4 month old. Young children = broken sleep and early morning wake-ups! So it seemed pretty stupid to try to stay up until midnight. I knew I would regret it in the morning.
As it happened, my 5 year old woke me up at around 1am (mosquito attack), my 2 year old woke up a few hours later (wet the bed) but the little 4 month old princess slept right through the night. Yep, we partied all New Year’s Eve night long at the Vie De La Vegan household!
Anyway, 2014…this has been my first year of blogging – I started taking this seriously in July 2014. In these past 6 months I have been cooking, cooking, photographing, eating, and cooking some more. What a mouthful of adventures and learning curves! It’s been fun, 2014. Here’s to a year of good healthy food in 2015!

Raspberry quinoa granola – this was my first (and still is my favourite) granola recipe, with tasty chunks of raspberry throughout.
Quick vegan sausages -best vegan sausages ever. Using only a handful of ingredients and a food processor, you can have these sausages frying in a matter of minutes! I have made these again and again many times.
Watermelon chia pudding – just 2 ingredients to make these sweet pudding – this was so tasty and bursting with nutrition!
5 ingredient raw lemon cheesecake– this cheesecake was one of my most popular posts, and it’s not hard to see why. A delicious, healthy dessert, made easily with only 5 ingredients!
Banana choc-chip pancakes – it was hard to decide between this pancake recipe or my favourite spelt pancake recipe, but remembering the chocolate chips hidden in these pancakes…mmm…these win, easily.
